PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide braid effectively demonstrating excellent properties of ultra high molecular weight polyethylene fibers in tensile strength-elastic modulus characteristics and also being excellent in dimension stability, abrasion resistance and handling.SOLUTION: The braid includes polyethylene fibers composed of ultra high molecular weight polyethylene, whose repeat unit is substantially ethylene, with a limiting viscosity of not less than 5 dL/g.
