Front waist elastics (18) are attached between a front outer sheet (11) and an inner sheet (13) and rear waist elastics (19) are attached between a rear outer sheet (12) and the inner sheet (13). An absorbent structureJO (30) is attached to an inner side of the inner sheet (13) and a pair of leg-cuffs (40) is attached between the absorbent structure (30) and the inner sheet (13) . Lateral proximal portions of the respective leg cuffs (40) are bonded between the absorbent structure (30) and the inner sheet (13) and lateral distal portions15 (42) of the respective leg cuffs extend outwardly in a transverse direction (X) beyond the absorbent structure (30) and are not bonded to the inner sheet (13). These lateral distal portions (42) are provided with a plurality of cuff elastics (43).
