PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To kill crystalline lens epithelial cells remaining in a crystalline capsule at a surgery for cataract.SOLUTION: A plug 1 seals an incision opening formed at anterior capsulotomy from the inside of a crystalline capsule. The plug 1 comprises: a convex part 2 which protrudes to a hydatoid side rather than to the incision opening when sealing is made and a flange part 3 made to be larger than the incision opening. The plug further comprises: a conduit line 4 for infusion to infuse a hypotonic solution or an isotonic solution into the crystalline capsule from the outside in order to kill crystalline lens epithelial cells remaining in an anterior capsule by infusing the hypotonic solution or the isotonic solution into the crystalline capsule and a conduit line 5 for suction to suck, to the outside of the crystalline capsule, the hypotonic solution or the isotonic solution infused into the crystalline capsule. This ensures that the crystalline lens epithelial cells do not grow after the surgery for cataract, preventing cataract from appearing later. When an adjustment-type intraocular lens is used, the focus adjustment function is preserved in a good condition.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】白内障の手術時に水晶体嚢内に残存する水晶体上皮細胞を死滅させる。【解決手段】前嚢切開にて形成された切開口を水晶体嚢の内側からシールするプラグ1である。プラグ1は、シール時に切開口よりも前房水側に突出する凸部2と、切開口よりも大きなサイズとされたフランジ部3を備える。また、プラグ1は、水晶体嚢内に低張液又は等張液を還流させて前嚢に残存する水晶体上皮細胞を死滅させるべく、外部から低張液又は等張液を水晶体嚢内に注入するための注入用管路4と、水晶体嚢内に注入された低張液又は等張液を水晶体嚢の外部に吸引するための吸引用管路5を備える。【効果】白内障の手術後に水晶体上皮細胞が増殖しないので、後発白内障を予防できる。調節型眼内レンズを用いた場合は、ピント調節機能が良好に持続する。【選択図】図1
