The water level control system (24) comprises a controller (26), a timer (30), and a low level sensor (28) arranged to sense a low water level in the trough (4). The timer (30) is adapted to measure a first time interval and a second time interval. The water level control system (24) is arranged to open the water outlet (16) under a first condition, and under a second condition if failing to meet the first condition, wherein the first condition is met when the first time interval has expired and a water level in the trough (4) is at or below the low level sensor (28), and wherein the second condition is met when the second time interval has expired.
