PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seedling transplanter capable of securing stable planting travel without causing the stop of travel and the operation failure of working equipment even with a decrease in engine rotation due to a large load in working in a deep paddy field.SOLUTION: The seedling transplanter includes travel devices (2, 3) supporting a machine body so as to be travelable in the field an engine (7) adjustable in rotation by the opening control of a throttle (7a) a hydraulic continuously variable transmission (8a) carrying out continuously variable transmission of engine power by the opening control of a trunnion (8b) and a lifting-adjustable planting device (6). The seedling transplanter further includes a rotation detector (7s) detecting the rotation speed of the engine (7), and a control device (C) controlling the opening of the trunnion (8b) and the opening of the throttle (7a).
