PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drunk state determining device capable of accurately determining the drunk state of a subject by preventing an error in determining the drunk state based on the detection of alcohol concentration in the exhalation.SOLUTION: A drunk state determining ECU1 determines the drunk state based on the alcohol concentration in the exhalation transmitted from an alcohol detection sensor 2. At the time, if it is determined that the alcohol concentration in the exhalation is at least an alcohol concentration threshold or higher, whether the drunk state was determined in the last drunk state determination or not is considered. If the drunk state was determined in the last drunk state determination, the gradient of the alcohol concentration in the exhalation is computed, and the computed gradient is compared with the gradient of concentration of vaporized gas generated from a food approximate to the alcoholic beverages. If the gradient of the alcohol concentration in the exhalation is approximate to the gradient of the vaporized gas concentration, it is determined that the subject is not in the drunk state.COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT【課題】 呼気中のアルコール濃度検知に基づく飲酒状態判定における誤判定を防止することにより、精度の高い飲酒状態判定を行うことができる飲酒状態判定装置を提供する。【解決手段】 飲酒状態判定ECU1は、アルコール検知センサ2から送信される呼気アルコール濃度に基づいて、飲酒状態を判定する。ここで、呼気アルコール濃度がアルコール濃度しきい値以上であると判断した場合、前回の飲酒状態判定で飲酒状態と判定されたかを判断する。このとき、前回の飲酒状態判定で飲酒状態と判定されていれば、呼気アルコール濃度勾配を算出し、酒類近似飲食物から発生する気化ガス濃度勾配と比較する。そして、呼気アルコール濃度勾配と気化ガス濃度勾配とが近似する場合に、飲酒状態でないと判定する。【選択図】 図1
