PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous liquid aromatic composition achieved in the enhancement of volatility by a highly general-purpose method reducing the effect on an aroma tone and having no problem in safety or cost, a liquid aromatic comprising using the same and a method for controlling the volatility speed of the aqueous liquid aromatic composition.SOLUTION: An aqueous liquid aromatic composition containing a citric acid ester as a volatility accelerator is provided. Further, an aqueous liquid aromatic comprising housing the aqueous liquid aromatic composition in a container equipped with a liquid absorbing member and a volatile member is provided. The content of the citric acid ester in the composition is preferably within a range of 0.01-10 wt.%.
