PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorptive structure or an absorber capable of simply and objectively identifying a generating part of urinary odor generated with the passage of time.SOLUTION: An absorptive structure or an absorber contains enzyme substrate type enzyme activity detecting reagent which generates a pigment compound or a fluorescent pigment compound hardly soluble in water by enzyme reaction of an enzyme decomposing an odorous component precursor to generate odorous components. The absorptive structure is preferably an absorptive article 1 or an absorptive core 4 of the absorptive article.
