PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic atomizing method used without the need for users to take time and effort for water replenishment or the removal of a deposited material, by which the rapid mist production can be achieved.
SOLUTION: The ion mist is produced by cooling a discharge electrode 11 by heat exchange to cool air around the discharge electrode 11 to produce the dew-condensed water on the surface of the discharge electrode 11 and applying high voltage to concentrate the electrical charge to the tip of the discharge electrode 11 on which water is dew-condensed.
