PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide new outer-membrane vesicle (or bleb) vaccines, and new vaccine compositions enhancing the effectiveness and safety of these vaccines.SOLUTION: An immuno-protective and non-toxic Gram-negative bleb vaccine suitable for paediatric use is provided. Examples of the Gram-negative strains from which the blebs are made are N. meningitidis, M. catarrhalis and H. influenzae.
