PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide packaging material with a label for food capable of packaging a food, such as a rice ball, in an easily openable state.SOLUTION: In a state where back and forth surfaces of a food (F) is enclosed with a front sheet and a back sheet, a width narrow part (20) and a width wide part (21) of the front sheet (11a) is folded onto the back sheet (11b) so as to be laminated in a manner where the side edge lines (20b, 20b) on both sides of the width narrow part cross each other. In addition, edge lines (16b, 16b) on both sides of the width wide part are separated and the label (12) is pasted on a region comprising both sides of the width wide part and the back sheet. The label (12) comprises an extending labeling part (12b) covering the laminated part of the crossing side edge lines (20b, 20b) from a main body labeling part (12a) covering a region comprising both sides of the width wide part (21) and the back sheet (11b).
