The chiller includes container transport means to transport containers to and from the support structure. The containers are reusable rigid containers for perishable products. The structure includes container locating means arranged to facilitate location of each container in the structure, the locating means being provided such that containers are spaced apart a predetermined distance to allow air flow about adjacent containers.
