To employ a simple structure for a guide mechanism for moving a massage mechanism to a treatment part from the buttocks to thighs and to reliably store the massage mechanism at a position separated from a seat face.SOLUTION: A chair type massage machine 1 includes: a seat 2； a seat massage mechanism 6 treating the buttocks of a user seated on the seat 2； a seat guide rail 7 arranged inside the seat 2 and guiding the seat massage mechanism 6 in a front-rear direction； a backrest 3； a back part massage mechanism 8 treating the back part of the user leaning against the backrest 3； and a back part guide rail 9 arranged inside the back part and guiding the back part massage mechanism 8 in a vertical direction along the back part.
