PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a deviation between a view point and a pointer position, in pointer position control by pupil coordinate detection.
SOLUTION: Pupil coordinates of an operator are detected for a specified time, which is triggered by eye closure for a fixed time. A gain is set by associating a moving range of the pupil during the period with a moving range of the pointer on a screen. Then, a zero point is set by keeping a move of a cursor within the screen, even when a cursor position found from the pupil position is outside the screen, in a screen end part. The cursor (pointer) is displayed thereby to a front face of a face that is an notice point of the operator, or the view point.
