An alert assisting method for an ultrasonic scanning device comprises: scanning a patient with an ultrasonic transducer of the ultrasonic scanner in a diagnostic mode in which the ultrasonic transducer moves relative to the patient； applying computer-assisted detection by the ultrasonic scanning device to each of a sequence of frames acquired by the scanning； identifying an object in a first one of the frames with the computer-assisted detection of the ultrasonic scanning device； measuring, in response to the identification of the object in the first frame, a mechanical property of the object； and generating an image with an alert identifying the first frame and the measured mechanical property.
