PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotatable elbow capable of smoothly performing air intake and exhaust of CO2, and a mask assembly.SOLUTION: An elbow for respiratory masks includes: (a) a first portion connected to an air supply conduit (b) a second portion connected to a frame (10) of the respiratory mask (5) and (c) a vent hole for leading air out to an ambient atmosphere from the inside of the respiratory mask.
