The present invention relates to a holder for a fishing rod. The holder for a fishing rod comprises: a supporting joint which has a pike formed on the lower end and a first screw thread formed on the outer circumferential surface of the upper end a holding joint which has a holding paddle prepared on the upper end and which is inserted in the supporting joint a funnel-shaped insertion member which has a slit formed on the inner circumferential surface of the lower end to vertically adjust the spaces and pressed protrusions facing each other and formed on the circumferential surface along the circumference and an anchoring member which has a second screw thread formed on the inner circumferential surface of the lower end and pushing protrusions formed on the upper part of the second screw thread and is coupled to the supporting joint with a screw, and therein the diameter of the insertion member becomes narrow and the supporting joint and the holding joint are anchored if the screw for coupling of the anchoring member is tightened. The length of the holder for a fishing rod of the present invention is easily adjustable while keeping the angle of the holding paddle by a simple handling. In addition, the present invention enables implementation of the features without major structural changes of the existing fishing rod holder, thereby being easily produced in the existing production facilities.
