PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sphygmomanometer capable of reducing a user's wait time from a termination time of one blood pressure measurement to a start time of pressurization for the next blood pressure measurement.SOLUTION: The sphygmomanometer comprises: a cuff 20 wrapped around a measurement site； a cuff pressure control unit for controlling the cuff pressure by supplying air to the cuff or exhausting air from the cuff； and a pressure detection unit for acquiring time-series output values corresponding to the cuff pressure. The cuff control unit begins exhaust from the cuff when one pressure measurement terminates. An exhaust completion time prediction unit predicts an exhaust completion time at which exhaust from the cuff should be completed, based on the time-series output values acquired by the pressure detection unit during the exhaust from the cuff.
