[Problem] The purpose of the present invention is to provide an external preparation for reducing friction on skin, which makes it possible to reduce friction on skin.[Solution] An external preparation comprising: at least one alcohol selected from the group consisting of a monohydric alcohol having 1 to 4 carbon atoms and benzyl alcohol； an ester of a monocarboxylic acid having 2 to 4 carbon atoms with a monohydric alcohol having 1 to 5 carbon atoms； and nitrocellulose. The external preparation can form a coating film having a high friction-reducing activity on skin and therefore can be used as an external preparation for reducing friction on skin.L'objet de la présente invention est de fournir une préparation externe destinée à réduire les frottements sur la peau, ce qui permet de réduire les frottements sur la peau. La solution selon l'invention porte sur une préparation externe comprenant : au moins un alcool choisi dans le groupe constitué par un alcool monohydrique ayant de 1 à 4 atomes de carbone et de l'alcool benzylique ； un ester d'un acide monocarboxylique ayant de 2 à 4 atomes de carbone avec un alcool monohydrique ayant de 1 à 5 atomes de carbone ； et de la nitrocellulose.
