PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stand on which a fishing reel can be placed in a stable attitude, and which can be distinguished at night and has excellent decorativeness.SOLUTION: A stand of a fishing reel includes: a cap member which is mounted on one of handle mounting parts of a reel having handle mounting parts for mounting a handle for rotating a rotor at both right and left end parts and provided with a screw part on the outside a stand body which can be engaged with the screw part of the cap member and formed of a hollow cylindrical body with both ends opened and a bar-like grounding pin inserted in a hollow part of the stand body or a light emitting body. The stand body is provided with a male screw part engaged with a first female screw part of the cap member at one end, and the hollow part is taken as a storing part for the bar-like grounding pin or the light emitting body.
