A medical apparatus of the present invention 1 includes an image pickup apparatus 20 provided for a medical instrument 2 to pick up an image of a region to be examined 100 in a body 101, a fixing section 5, 6, 7 that keeps the image pickup apparatus 20 fixed to a body wall 102 in the body 101, a transmission section 15 that extends from the image pickup apparatus 20 and transmits a power or an electric signal to/from a device outside the body, and a shake absorption section that absorbs and suppresses shaking of the transmission section 15, wherein when a treatment is applied to a subject in the body while observing the subject, the apparatus can suppress shaking of the image pickup apparatus left indwelling in the body, acquire an excellent observed image and prevent damage to a cable extending from the image pickup apparatus.
