The invention relates to a trap for capturing harmful creeping insects in infested buildings, said trap (1) consisting of a hollow body (2) provided with a slot-shaped opening (3) providing a path for access to the insects, said slot (3) being provided along the entire length of said hollow body (2), the rear part (12) of said hollow body (2) being pressed firmly against the wall (13) of the building； the upper part of the front face of the hollow body (2) constitutes a cover (5) and the lower part constitutes a ramp (7), said slot (3) being delimited by an upper edge (3.a) and a lower edge (3.b) so that the gap "d" of the slot (3) prevents the insects from stepping over to pass directly from one edge to another. L'invention concerne un piège destiné à capturer les insectes rampants nuisibles dans les bâtiments infestés, ledit piège (1) étant constitué d'un corps creux (2) pourvu d'une ouverture en forme de fente (3) assurant une voie d'accès aux insectes, ladite fente (3) étant ménagée sur toute la longueur dudit corps creux (2), la partie arrière (12) dudit corps creux (2) étant plaquée intimement contre la paroi (13) du bâtiment ； la partie supérieure de la face avant du corps creux (2) constitue un couvercle (5) et la partie inférieure constitue une rampe (7), ladite fente (3) étant délimitée par une bordure supérieure (3.a) et une bordure inférieure (3.b) de sorte que l'écartement « d » de la fente (3) permet d'empêcher les insectes de l'enjamber pour passer directement d'une bordure à l'autre. L'invention concerne aussi un procédé pour capturer les insectes rampants nuisibles.
