A skin care formulation is described. The skin care formulation includes cyclopentasiloxane having weight percentage in the range of 2-4%, glyceryl monostearate having weight percentage in the range of 1.25-1.75%, ethylene glycol distearate having weight percentage in the range of 0.75-1.25%, and sodium pyrolidine carboxylic acid having weight percentage in the range of 0.25-0.75%. The skin care formulation is effective in preventing skin dryness and also has superior aesthetic and sensory properties.
