PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact walking type tiller which arranges related levers in a concentrative manner.SOLUTION: A walking type tiller 1 includes: an engine 20 travel wheels 2L, 2R an operation handle 60 a tillage claw 41 tilling a farm field a transmission case 30 incorporating a transmission mechanism transmitting drive force from the engine 20 to the travel wheels via a right/left pair of axles 50L, 50R and to the tillage claw 41 a main clutch operation lever 400 performing switch operation between "ON" and "OFF" of transmission of the drive force from the engine a main clutch lock lever 500 restraining the swith operation of "ON" of the main clutch operation lever and cancels the restraining and a parking brake lever 600 performing switch operation between "operation" and "cancellation" of a parking brake device 100 stopping a motion of the travel wheels.
