PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus which reduces labor required for collecting still image data for acquiring the still image data of a broad range.SOLUTION: The ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus is equipped with an ultrasonic probe 10 for transmitting and receiving ultrasound to and from a subject P, a transmitting and receiving part 20 which drives the ultrasonic probe 10 to scan the ultrasound, an image data generating part 31 which generates image data based on received signals from the transmitting and receiving part 20, a position data generating part 41 which generates position data showing a position where the ultrasonic probe 10 is movable, and a display part 50 which displays the image data generated by the image data generating part 31. The position data generating part 41 collects the still image data from the image data generated by the image data generating part 31 and generates the position data to acquire the still image data of the broad range.
