An arrangement for gripping at least one teat cup (1) is disclosed. The arrangement comprises a storing device (10) adapted to hold the teat cup (1) in a parked position and a gripping device (2) adapted to grip the parked teat cup (1). A contact surface (6a) of the gripping device (2) is adapted to contact with a contact surface (1d) of the teat cup. The arrangement further comprises a movably arranged positioning element (15) which is able to adjust the position of the contact surface (1d) of the parked cup (1) in relation to the contact surface (6a) of the gripping device (2) from an initial contact position to a grip position. The adjusting means comprises a movable suspension device (22) arranged between the positioning element (15) and a stationary element (11).
