PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zirconia sintered body with both excellent light transmissivity and flexure strength, particularly a zirconia sintered body with both light transmissivity and strength suitable for an artificial tooth used in a front tooth, and a manufacturing method therefor.SOLUTION: A light transmissive zirconia sintered body includes yttria of more than 4.0 mol% and 6.5 mol% or less, and has an alumina content of 0 wt.%.
