PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic in which pyroligneous acid or the purified liquid thereof and a cosmetic oil are dispersed, and raw material for producing a cosmetic for producing the cosmetic.SOLUTION: The cosmetic includes: pyroligneous acid or the purified liquid thereof a cosmetic oil and the endoplasmic reticulum of an amphiphile having a self-organizing function, and in which a water phase including the pyroligneous acid or the purified liquid thereof and an oil phase including the cosmetic oil are dispersed by the endoplasmic reticulum of the amphiphile. The cosmetic oil preferably comprises a camellia oil, and the purified liquid may be the whole or a part of the one obtained by distilling the pyroligneous acid.
