PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a functional glycol gel, of which water-absorbing and moisture-absorbing properties are suppressed.
SOLUTION: The functional glycol gel contains (a) 30-98.4 mass% of a glycol-based solvent, (b) 0.5-3 mass% of a gellant, (c) water, and (d) a functional component as essential components wherein (i) when the solubility of water in the component (a), the glycol-based solvent, is 50 g/100 g or more, a blending amount of water is 20-50 mass%, and (ii) when the solubility of water in the component (a), the glycol-based solvent, is less than 50 g/100 g, the blending amount of water is from 1 mass% to the amount corresponding to the solubility of water in the solvent.
