PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a germination treatment method of Viola thibaudieri, which promises a contribution to enhancement of the individual propagation or survival rate of Viola thibaudieri.SOLUTION: In a germination treatment method of Viola thibaudieri, seeds collected from Viola thibaudieri are held in a moisture retaining atmosphere substantially without nutrition, and a multistage germination treatment as one cycle is repeated in one ore more cycles until the seeds are rooted and germinated, and the roots are extended to a predetermined length. The multistage germination treatment is composed of a three-step temperature treatment consisting of (1) a high-temperature treatment for holding the seeds at a predetermined temperature in a high-temperature range of 15-25°C for 3-1 months, (2) a middle-temperature treatment for holding them at a predetermined temperature in a middle-temperature range of 5-15°C for 2.5-1.5 months, and (3) a low-temperature treatment for holding them at a predetermined temperature in a low-temperature range of 1-5°C for 4-2 months and a temperature raising treatment.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】タデスミレの個体増殖ないし生残率の増大に寄与が期待できるタデスミレの発芽処理方法を提供すること。【解決手段】タデスミレの発芽処理方法。タデスミレから採取した種子を実質的に無栄養で保湿雰囲気に保持して、1)高温域を15℃~25℃として、所定温度で3~1ヶ月保持する高温処理、2)中温域を5℃~15℃として、所定温度で2.5~1.5ヶ月保持する中温処理、3)低温域を1℃~5℃として、所定温度で4~2ヶ月保持する低温処理、からなる三段温度処理および昇温処理からなる多段発芽処理を1サイクルとして、該多段発芽処理を1サイクル以上、前記種子が発根・発芽し、根が所定長に伸長するまで繰り返す。【選択図】図1
