PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical guide wire which has a flexible and sturdy tip end.SOLUTION: A medical guide wire 1B comprises: a core shaft 2: an outside coil 31 for covering at least the tip end of the core shaft 2； and an inside coil 10 positioned inside the outside coil 31 and covering at least the tip end of the core shaft 2. A space between the outside coil 31 and the inside coil 10 is filled with a resin material to form a resin layer 20, a portion of the outside coil 31 corresponding to the resin layer 20 being coiled coarsely.
