PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ophthalmic apparatus with which a subjects eye can be excellently aligned with the optical system when an anterior-chamber angle image of the subjects eye is captured.SOLUTION: An ophthalmic apparatus 1 includes: an imaging optical system that includes a light projecting optical system for projecting light to an anterior-chamber angle region of a subjects eye E and a light receiving optical system including a light receiving element for receiving reflected light from the anterior-chamber angle region an alignment mechanism 4, 5a, 5b for changing a positional relationship between the subjects eye E and the imaging optical system and a control unit for generating an anterior-chamber angle image based on a signal from the light receiving element.
