The present disclosure is related to an oral pharmaceutical composition comprising the combination a meglitinide and/or its salts, and biguanide and/or its salts, together with pharmaceutically acceptable carriers and/or excipients. Indicated for the treatment of hyperglycemia, control of glycemic levels and their comorbidities. The composition is characterized in that the same is formed by a biguanide core and a meglitinide coating, the core can be a compressed core or a core in the form of microspheres or coated granules. The composition allows the immediate release of the two active ingredients, and additionally, the release of meglitinide is significantly improved even though presents solubility problems compared to individual formulations thereof, achieving a synergistic effect in the treatment of hyperglycemia (control of glycemic levels) and its comorbidities when combined with biguanide.La presente invención se refiere a una composición farmacéutica oral que comprende la combinación una meglitinida y/o sus sales y biguanida y/o sus sales, adicionalmente, vehículos y/o excipientes farmacéuticamente aceptables； indicada para el tratamiento de hiperglucemia, control de los niveles glucémicos y sus comorbilidades. La composición se caracteriza porque está formada por un núcleo de la biguanida y un recubrimiento de meglitinida, el núcleo puede ser un núcleo comprimido o un núcleo en forma de microesferas o gránulos recubiertos. La composición permite la liberación inmediata de los dos principios activos, y adicionalmente la liberación de la meglitinida se mejora significativamente a pesar de que presenta problemas de solubilidad, en comparación con formulaciones individuales de la misma y se logra un efecto sinérgico en el tratamiento de hiperglucemia (control de los niveles glucémicos) y sus comorbilidades al combinarla con la biguanida.
