PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clamp device which does not bend a male screw shaft even if a knob of the clamp device is turned with a force larger than necessary, can make a fastening force by the male screw shaft constantly proper, and can surely prevent an accident that an infusion pump drops together with a placing pedestal.SOLUTION: When a knob 17 is turned by gripping an external fit part 21, an advance/retreat gripping part 11 is made to approximate a pole 61 and brought into a state of pressure contact with an external peripheral face, and a force which turns the knob 17 to a direction in which the male screw shaft 9 is fastened reaches a constant value or larger, a protrusion 38 slides in a direction in which the protrusion 38 ascends on an inclined face 34a, and the protrusion 38 exceeds a protrusion 34. By this constitution, the engagement of the protrusion 38 and the inclined face 34a is released, and the external fit part 21 is idled with respect to a fixed part 19. Accordingly, even if the knob 17 of a clamp device 1 is turned by a force larger than necessary, a force for turning the external fit part 21 is not transmitted to the male screw shaft 9, and the male screw shaft 9 is not rotated.
