PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article having excellent fit, wearing property, and absorption performance.SOLUTION: An absorbent article 1 includes: a liquid-permeable top sheet 2, a liquid-impermeable back sheet, and an absorber layer 3 disposed between the top sheet 2 and the back sheet. The absorber layer includes upper/lower two-layered structure. The area of a lower absorber layer 32 is 40-70% of the area of an upper absorber layer 31, the basis weight of a base material of the lower absorber layer is 80-160% of the basis weight of the upper absorber layer, and the SAP (Super-Absorbent Polymer) basis weight of the lower absorber layer is 100-300% of the SAP basis weight of the upper absorber layer. Areas where the upper absorber layer and the lower absorbent layer are overlapped include channel embossments 8 until reaching the lower absorber layer.
