PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate capturing a foreign matter such as calculus.SOLUTION: A medical care basket-shaped treatment instrument comprises: an operation wire 30 to be inserted into a first lumen 22 of a catheter tube 20 so as to be movable in an axial direction； a basket part 32 which is connected to a distal end of the operation wire 30, which is contracted in the first lumen 22, and which expands when being pushed out from a basket opening 22a at a distal end of the first lumen 22； and a balloon 40 which is attached in the vicinity of the distal end of the catheter tube 20, and which is expanded by feeding of a fluid for balloon expansion to the balloon through a second lumen 24 of the catheter tube 20.
