PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for the oral cavity remarkably improving deposition of a mineral on dentinal tubules, effectively constricting and sealing the dentinal tubules, and having excellent relaxing and prophylactic effects on dentine hypersensivity, and a good feeling of use.SOLUTION: The composition for the oral cavity is characterized by comprising (A) hydrolyzed silk, (B) a water-soluble fluorine compound, (C) an alkali metal salt of a water-soluble condensed phosphoric acid selected from among pyrophosphoric acid, tripolyphosphoric acid, hexametaphosphoric acid, and polyphosphoric acid and/or an alkali metal salt of a water-soluble carboxylic acid selected from among acetic acid, lactic acid, malic acid, tartaric acid, malonic acid, and gluconic acid and is characterized in that the content of the ingredient (A) is 0.5-5 mass%, the content of the ingredient (C) is 0.5-3 mass%, and the total content of the ingredient (A) and the ingredient (C) is 1-6 mass%.
