PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shampoo for louse extermination, which improves the liquidity of Sumithrin shampoo (R) during application, enhances louse extermination effect and has excellent usability.

SOLUTION: The shampoo for louse extermination is obtained by holding a shampoo composition that comprises (a) 3-phenoxybenzyl-d-cis/trans-chrysanthemate as a louse extermination component, (b) an amine oxide represented by general formula R1N(R2)(R3)&rarrO (wherein R1is an 8-16C alkyl group and R2and R3are each a 1-2C alkyl group or a hydroxyethyl group and may be the same or different) as a blowing agent, (c) a solubilizer and (d) purified water, has viscosity of &le100 cP (25°C) housed in a foam discharge container and is enhanced in the louse extermination effect by treating the hair root with discharged foams.
