PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a waist belt which hardly generates waste during its production process.
SOLUTION: The method for producing the waist belt is provided which includes a step (A) in which an elastic sheet is acquired by attaching leg-surrounding elastic materials in a stretched condition along a longitudinal strip of sheet in such a way that the leg-surrounding elastic materials trace a waving track, a step (B) in which a first intermediate sheet having peak parts of the leg-surrounding elastic materials including one end of the elastic sheet in the lateral direction and a second intermediate sheet having peak parts of the leg-surrounding elastic materials including the other end are acquired by cutting regions of the elastic sheet where the leg-surrounding elastic materials are attached, a step (C) in which a laminate is acquired by laminating the first and the second intermediate sheets to place one end and the other end on the same side and to make the peak parts overlap with each other, a step (D) in which a bonded body is acquired by fixing predetermined parts of the first and second intermediate sheets with each other, and a step (E) in which the waist belt is acquired by cutting the bonded body in a predetermined shape.
