PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suitably detect moving of a subject after a scout image is captured until final image capturing is performed.SOLUTION: A magnetic resonance imaging apparatus includes: an imaging part for capturing two or more sheets of scout images different in normal direction from each other a storage part for storing the scout images a display part for displaying the scout images and an operation part capable of inputting the position and direction for performing final image capturing when an operator inputs a straight line on the scout image displayed by the display means.
