PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a human characteristic detection device and spectacle type electronic device capable of accurately detecting a skin potential of a human body in the spectacle type electronic device.SOLUTION: Electrode members 2 and 4 have a screw structure, are composed of head parts 2A and 4A with flat surfaces that come into direct contact with the surface of a nose of a human body, and screw parts 2B and 4B, and threadedly fitted in through-holes 6 and 7 provided on electrode support members 3 and 5. The head parts 2A and 4A are configured to perpendicularly project/retract with respect to the surface of the nose.
