PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscopic system capable of detecting the using state of conduits and preventing a used endoscope from being reused directly by detecting the fact that a fluid flows to a conduit for sending air, a conduit for sending water and a conduit for suction.

SOLUTION: When a suction pump 70 or an air sending/water sending pump 71 is activated, a detection part 104 detects the current value of the suction pump 70 or the air sending/water sending pump 71. An MPU 102 determines the presence/absence of the use of a scope unit 3 from the detected result, cuts off a fuse 108 when it is used, transmits an instruction to inhibit the display of an endoscopic image to an alarm part 112 and inhibits the display on a monitor 84. When the scope unit 3 is connected, the MPU 102 determines the presence/absence of the use of the scope unit 3 from the state of the fuse 108, and when it is used, transmits the instruction to inhibit the display of the endoscopic image to the alarm part 112 and inhibits the display on the monitor 84.
