SOLUTION: In an image processing method for detecting an object in the object area from three-dimensional image data, it is characterized in that it has a step of extracting the processing area by using the threshold obtained by cumulative frequency distribution, a step of detecting the object area by fine line process from the extracted processing area, a step of calculating the characteristic amount of the object area, and a step of detecting the object based on the calculated characteristic amount.
