To provide an ultrasonic probe capable of achieving widening of a band of the ultrasonic probe by a simpler configuration.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic probe includes a piezoelectric element that transmits and receives an ultrasonic wave, a backing provided on a back side of the piezoelectric element, and an intermediate layer disposed between the piezoelectric element and the backing.
