The present invention relates to a salt extraction apparatus for a salt pond, comprising: a rail installed on the top surface of an embankment which divides the salt pond； a transfer frame combined with a transfer wheel moving along the rail； a main frame, which is rotatably combined with a top side of the transfer frame； a salt extraction unit installed on one side of the main frame to scoop up salt gathered on one side surface of the salt pond to load the salt on a salt transfer bogie moving along the rail； a power supply means installed on the other side of the main frame to supply power to drive the salt extraction unit； and a frame foldably installed on the main frame to be unfolded to agree with the rail to make the salt transfer bogie to get on or off and to be movable. The main frame comprises: a driving wheel axially combined to contact or be distanced from the embankment and the rail as the salt extraction unit on a top side of the salt pond rises and falls； and an auxiliary driving wheel installed to rise and fall together with the driving wheel and to be supported by the rail on the opposite side of the driving wheel. The transfer frame comprises: a driving shaft combined with one or more pairs of the transfer wheels to simultaneously rotate； and a driving means combined with the driving shaft to selectively rotate the driving shaft.
