The present invention relates to a protective device for a medical bed, which is installed in front and rear sides of a main frame of a medical bed to protect the head and legs of a patient. The protective device for a medical bed includes: protective device main bodies which are installed in front and rear sides of a longitudinal direction of a medical bed, respectively, and prevent a separation of the head and legs of a patient； main body side surface units which form both sides of a protective device main body and connect the protective main body to a frame of the medical bed； a main body upper end unit which is connected to the upper ends of the main body side surface units and forms an upper part of the protective device main body； and a main body support unit which is connected to a lower end of the main body side surface unit, forms a lower end of the protective device main body and provides a support force for the protective device main body. The protective device main body includes a control member having a control unit for controlling the operation of the medical bed and devices installed on the medical bed at one part thereof.
