PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for selecting a patient having a mutant PI3K tumor for treatment with taselisib. The depletion of p110alpha protein comprises anti-p110alpha, including (a) treating a biological sample obtained from a patient with taselisib； and (b) detecting depletion of p110alpha protein. Includes a step measured by binding to an antibody, a step in which depletion of the p110 alpha protein in a biological sample exhibits therapeutic responsiveness to the compound.
