PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device to image a subject by moving a table part supporting the subject to an imaging space, in which optimum moving control can be performed to the table part in various imaging methods.
SOLUTION: A characteristic quantity calculation part 104 calculates characteristic quantity representing moving characteristics of the table part 101 based on change by time of a position detected by a table position detecting part 103 such as the frequency or amplitude of periodic change of speed v. An imaging mode setting part 303 sets one of a plurality of imaging modes based on an instruction from an operator. A control parameter setting part 105 sets a control parameter to prescribe speed change of the table part 101 based on the determined characteristic quantity and the set imaging mode. A table move control part 107 controls move of the table part 101 using the control parameter.
