PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Luo Han Guo extract in which a water insoluble matter is suppressed. SOLUTION: (1) Mogroside V is contained in an amount of 0.01% by mass to 70% by mass； and (2) a water-insoluble component is contained in an amount of 5% by mass or less, and the water-insoluble component content / polyphenol content is 1/2 or less. The Luo Han Guo extract is prepared. Such Luo Han Guo extract can be used as a food and drink composition, a pharmaceutical composition, a cosmetic composition or an oral care preparation.
