PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cage for a pet allowing efficient cleaning of a floor, a tray, and a floor-tray combined type pedestal without soiling an animal limb lower part and the inside of a house while holding an animal in the cage.
SOLUTION: The cage for the pet includes an animal holding enclosure part opened at the lower part to prevent the held animal from escaping in lateral and upward directions. Two or more pedestals for preventing the animal that lands on the animal limb lower part, from escaping downward are laterally arranged in a drawer fashion, and a movable animal driving-drawing plate using a part of a surrounding surface that constitutes the animal holding enclosure part or using a partition plate added to the animal holding enclosure part is provided to drive and draw the held animal onto the desired pedestal. Alternatively, a total of two or more pedestals for preventing the animal that lands on the animal limb lower part, from escaping downward are provided on upper and lower levels in a drawer fashion so that the upper level side pedestal shuts off an above-head space of the lower level side pedestal, and used placing the animal on one of the pedestals during usual raising of the animal.
